A graduate of W.A. Berry High School and the University of Alabama, Philip Richards has lived in the Birmingham area for nearly 50 years.
Philip spent most of his professional career at Alabama Gas Corporation in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Economic Development and External Affairs.
Philip is very active in the community, having been a United Way of Central Alabama volunteer for 25 years and is a featured speaker in their annual campaign meetings.
He is also on the Board of Directors for The Arc of Central Alabama and has previously served on the Board of Directors for The Arc of the United States while working tirelessly for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Philip has been helping educate people about their Medicare options since 2019 and is owner of Alabama Medicare Advisory Group and partners with Medicare Advisors of Alabama.
Philip and his wife, Gina, are residents of Hoover.
